Bay School Winter Musical - FOOTLOOSE
On Stage at the Southside Theater - February 9th-12th
Get ready to dance in the aisles as the Emmy-nominated musical Footloose explodes onto the Bay School stage for a four-night run from February 9th-12th at the Southside Theater at Ft. Mason. Based on the hit 80’s movie, Footloose has become a stage musical phenomenon that Variety calls “a celebration of youthful independence...genuine artistry and innovation and terrific tunes.” Reserve tickets online.

Bay School Trustee Dr. John Hafernik, professor of biology at SF State University and President of the California Academy of Sciences, has recently been recognized in TIME and professional journals for his research into the collapse of honey bee colonies resulting from parasitic infections transmitted by phoridic flies. The recent Bay School 2012 alumni reunion was a fantastic event! Nearly 200 graduates and their parents, joined by members of the faculty, staff, and trustees gathered to celebrate the upcoming college graduations of our founding Class of 2008 and to catch up on each other's news.

The 2012 Bay Maker Faire team is in action! This year's project is The Viper - a motion controlled flight simulator inspired by the ship of the same name from the SyFy channel's TV series Battlestar Galactica. Monitor their progress online. The 2012 Bay Area Maker Faire will be on May 21-22.
