The Bay School campus is located at the heart of The Presidio of San Francisco, the nation's largest urban national park, encompassing 1,400 acres of varied natural habitats bounded by San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Decommissioned by the US Army in 1994, the Presidio is now home to more than 200 businesses, non-profits, arts and cultural organizations with which the school is fortunate to collaborate.
Our location in the Main Post area of the Presidio offers unparalleled opportunities for Bay School students to extend their learning beyond the classroom through active participation in the many environmental, historical, and cultural projects that continually go on around us.
Location of the Bay School campus at the Presidio of San Francisco represents a magnificent opportunity, enabling the school to offer the comprehensive program envisioned in its mission—an inspiring education for the 21st century.
